Sorane and Navi occasionally cross paths in open water, where a jellyfish vessel and a shark make for a surprisingly competitive race, much to both parties’ delight. When anyone asks why Sorane lives inside a shark, the answer is always the same: “Isn’t it safer to be inside the shark than outside it?”
