A brand-new angel apprentice, Moca has only just received wings—and hasn’t quite figured out how to fly yet. The bear-eared bonnet is worn for one reason only: “because I like it.” When the teacher points out that it’s not very angel-like, Moca just smiles and carries on. Moca’s greatest gift is an effortless ability to soften any room just by being in it—no matter how tense the atmosphere, one waddling entrance from Moca and everyone finds themselves smiling. Moca and Gabri are classmates at the angel school, famously known for dozing off together mid-lesson. As for whether Moca will ever learn to fly properly—that’s the one thing Moca worries about least of all.
